Hello there @jt11, thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. We apologize for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 3, I'll be glad to help you.

To better assist you, would you mind providing me with some details of the issue you're experiencing with your Charge 3? In case you're experiencing any of the following issues, restart your device:

  • Won't sync
  • Won't respond to button presses, taps, or swipes
  • Charged but doesn't turn on
  • Won't track your steps or other stats

You can restart your tracker as follows:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

I'm looking forward to your response.

I have been working three days to get my Charge 3 to communicate/sync with my iPhone app. After visiting the community and finding out that others were having the same issue, I started a live chat with FitBit and further troubleshooting. Nothing helped!! Deleted and reloaded the app...rebooted the charge...rebooted the iPhone...multiple times. Today, in total disgust, I went a step further and had my Charge 3 deleted from bluetooth on my iPhone. Unbelievably, my phone immediately synced! Not certain whether some software changes were made on the backside or the Charge knew I started looking at Apple watches.
