Charge 3 lines on display

I have done all that has been suggested on the forum and the black lines still remain.  Whichever clock face I choose it makes no difference.  My charge 3 is only just over 12 months old.  I am now on my 4th Fitbit device and have had problems with all of them before they have been out of warranty.  Loosing faith in them now and think it's time to try an alternative.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Charge 3 following the next steps and let me know if the issue with its display persists:

 

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    1. Charge 3—press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

I have lines on mine as well.. I tried doing the same thing several times..

I have the same issue my fitbit 3 is only 10 months old, tried your suggesting also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app also changing the clock face but nothing has helped.
