Hello @TimothyS. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the detailed information. At this time, I'm not sure about what could be causing this inconvenience, but if you have any other Bluetooth devices paired to your phone, I'd recommend removing them and then please restart your phone and test the behavior of your Charge 3.

In addition, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 by following the instructions here. Once your tracker is restarted, please remove the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:

*On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request. Also, please make sure no other mobile devices are nearby as this can interfere with the set up or sync process.

If you encounter any inconvenience to set up your Charge 3, please check: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Hi

I have the same problem. My Charge 3 loses Bluetooth connection constantly now over 3-4 weeks. Some days i have to pair/set up my Charge 3 to my phone 2-3 times in a day. Needless to say, it is very, very annoying. I have restarted Charge 3 over 10 times and i don't know what else can i do.

Hello @roosamanna. Nice to see you around.

I'm sorry for the experience and thank you for providing information about the issue and for your help in trying to resolve this matter. While you've tried to restart your Charge 3, I'd recommend performing a long restart by following the instructions below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Also, if you have too many devices connected to your phone's Bluetooth, I recommend removing some of them and restart your mobile device. Also, make sure that your mobile device meets the requirements listed here

Hope this helps.
