I don't get notifications for any calls or texts. I have a Samsung A50 phone and a Charge 3 Fitbit. It syncs fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app. When I tap my charge 3 in Bluetooth it gives me a message "An app is needed to use this device" . Do I need more than just the Fitbit app?

Thank you for all the information that you've provided about what you've been experiencing with your Charge 3.
Before considering other options, please check all the necessary requirements and if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications.
In addition to the steps mentioned earlier, make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed and to check all the compatibility requirements here. Keep in mind that you won’t see notifications on your Fitbit device if you turned on the Do Not disturb Icon or Sleep Mode.
