Charge 3 not recording steps

Charge 3 has suddenly stopped recording steps, well ones I can see on the device.  However it is still reminding me to move and recording those steps which is bizarre...can anyone help?  I have rebooted it but no change.

Problem solved by syncing.  Still bizarre, that's never occurred before.
