My Charge 3 will sync to my own Dashboard correctly but I’m losing steps on any challenge, it records some steps but I’m normally missing between 6-8,000 steps a day. I did everything the troubleshooting site said the only thing that worked was to Forget this Device, it worked perfect for a week but, now it’s still not syncing properly surly you shouldn’t have to go through Forget this Device every time, it’s meant to be one of the best Fitbit out, so far I give it 1 Star 😤😞

A warm welcome to the Community @Jowens.
Thanks for troubleshooting this challenges issue by yourself. Below are possible reasons for this issue:
1. Your steps have fully synced to our database but you're not viewing the mobile app dashboard in Live Data Mode. (Live data mode would show the word "connected" under your tracker tile).
2. You manually logged an activity. Steps from manually logged activities do not count toward challenges; only steps recorded by your tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
3. You used MobileRun to track GPS data with your app. Only steps recorded by a tracker or MobileTrack are counted toward challenges.
4. All challenge participants are not in the same time zone.
I also suggest waiting 15 minutes after syncing your Fitbit data to see if your challenge updates. For more information about this, check the help article What should I know about Fitbit challenges?.
Let me know the outcome.

Alejandra I'm having the exact same issue.
1. I'm in live data mode
2. I haven't manually logged anything
3. I haven't used Mobile Run
4. Everyone's in the same time zone
5. I've waited more than 15 minutes.
I've heard about a "Do Not Disturb" fix, but that was from a 2 year old post. Also there's something about syncing via the computer?

Hey @cjsander322, it's great to welcome you.
Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue by yourself. If your tracker syncing as it should? If the issue is directly with syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provide there.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Seems like an ongoing issue and nothing but the same useless copied and pasted response. My challenge is more than 14k steps short from what the dashboard reads. Device is syncing, nothing is being manually logged, no third party apps. All the troubleshooting steps have done nothing either. Seems that whatever steps are done on the treadmill versus just walking around somehow don't count. Makes no sense.

Has there been any resolution to this issue? A friend on moments has a charge 3 and has the same issue. It worked great the first week she had it then after one of the participants in our challenges went to Iowa everything went haywire.
Our challenges are no longer on the time delay and no one else is experiencing issues except the only participant with a charge 3 🤔.
We have 2 people with Versa watches, 3 with charge 2’s and one with I’m not sure what. It seems weird that only one particular watch would be effected.

I am having the same problem. Nothing seems to work. Looks like a lot of people have same issue.

Same issue. I cannot believe how far Fitbit has fallen, this will likely be my last one. I had the One and it was AMAZING! I have now had 4 Altas that were crap, and now the 3, also turning out to be crap.
DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE SAME TIRED, USELESS RESPONSE TO THESE ISSUES THAT YOU HAVE BEEN COPYING AND PASTING SINCE 2015!!!!
M = 2303 steps
T = 13,406 steps
W = 11,769 steps
Th = 10,264 steps
F (so far) = 12,026 steps
Total: 49,768 steps
Total shown on challenge: 34,351
Manual entry on Monday, but that only accounts for 2303 steps.
Yes, up to date app.
Yes, syncing properly.
Yes or no to every other canned response given.
Removed device and added back in.
Removed device, logged out, removed app, downloaded app, logged in, added device.
Reset Charge 3.
Stop putting out the newest and greatest that hasn't been tested just to get money and go back to being a quality, customer driven company.
