Charge 3 not working properly

Takes forever to sync, watch face does not always display when I turn my wrist, and 2 nights in the past couple of weeks tracking sleep feature was incorrect. I have only had the watch a couple of weeks!

Hi there @mtexas7, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided, I'll be glad to help you. 😉

If you're having syncing difficulties, I'd recommend to follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

About your screen not coming on automatically, have you verified that Screen Wake is enabled on Charge 3? Please try these steps:

  • On your tracker, press and hold the button until the Quick Settings menu appears.
  • Find the Screen Wake option and tap it to turn it off.
  • If it is disabled, it has a diagonal line through it.

If the Screen Wake is enable, but not working as it should I'd recommend restarting your device by following these steps

On the other hand, if you are not receiving sleep stages, I recommend considering the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see: What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

Give this a go and let me know if you need further assistance.

Regarding response to my questions.

Yes, I know how to do screen awake, and it is on.

Regarding sleep tracking.the watchband is tight..it has tracked my sleep
properly until recently. Again last night shows I slept fewer hours then I
actually did..by lots. Also now, for the past two nights it is not showing
oxygenation levels. It was doing that too before now. I never ever sleep
less then 3 hours, and it showed that one night, saying unable to track.

If I reset, will I lose the data from when I first got the watch. I
purchased this January 9th...I should not be having issues!!!

Thank you,
