Charge 3 out of warranty policies

So my charge 3 died.

Contacted customer support offered 35% off new device.

I questioned this but have been unable to get an answer as fitbit don't seem to want to answer.

Others outwith warranty are offered a replacement or 50% off. Fit bit say their policy is 35%, no more!

I have proof in emails etc from a friend who was outwith warranty and I've seen plenty of others on this group.

Totally disgusted with the unfairness and the fact they hide behind policies that seem to be changed when it suits them!

But if your warranty has expired then Fitbit aren't obliged to offer you anything but do so as a good will gesture.

I understand that. However, they cannot say that their policy only allows them to offer 35% discount, yet others are offered replacements or 50% discount. That is unfair and quite obvious it depends what way the winds blowing what you get offered

@Cam2079 when you call customer service, your case is evaluated individually. The result may be one person gets 35% when another might get 50% discount. It depends on what the issue is and what the Fitbit representative is authorized to give. It's not that it's fair or unfair, but it is their policy. As @SteveH posted, with the warranty period over, Fitbit has no obligation to do anything, so your discount is a gift. Sorry it happened, but these devices don't live forever.

Unfortunately this is not the case.

They have advised that the most they can offered fir anyone outwith warranty is 35%, that's their policy.

They cannot say that's policy then offer direct amounts to different people, that is unfair!
