Hello moderators and experts. I have Some questions:
- why does my charge think that i am afsleep when I am just resting and watching TV in the evening? So my watch counts to many sleep.
- why do I see in my menu sometimes the amount of sleep, weight and number of trainings after a synch. And mostly of the times not? Now it doesn’t show the number of trainings anymore. Any clue?
I thinner that the software really could use an update!

Hello there @Walker1901, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided, I'll be glad to help you with your inquiries. 😉
In regards to your sleep, autodetection is based on your movement. When you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data—such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior (such as rolling over)—help confirm that you’re asleep. Morning movement tells your tracker that you’re awake. If you’re not moving but not asleep for long periods of time it’s possible for your device to falsely record sleep, in which case you can delete the sleep log from your history.
Since you wear a Fitbit device with heart-rate tracking to sleep, Fitbit uses a combination of your movement and heart-rate patterns to estimate your sleep stages. For more information, see What should I know about sleep stages?
About your data not showing, I was wondering if you don't see those details in your Charge 3 or Fitbit app? Note that in order to transfer your Charge 3's data to your Fitbit app you must sync both. Take a look at: How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
In case you are having syncing difficulties, follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Give this a go and let me know if you have any questions present.

Hello
thank you for the answer.
i can understand the mecanism about the registration of sleep.
about the syncing, i don’t understand. I sync my watch to the app about 2 times a day and it works: i get the data of the watch on my app. But on my watch i dont see any update/recent information of the amount of sleep, the weight loss or Numbers of trainingen. So i don’t understand what is going wrong with the sync from the app to my watch.
another question about the weather app: the current location on my watch is still the location which i have visited a month ago. Why it doesn’t change?
thank you for your answer
