Charge 3 quick view isn't working

I upgraded from my Charge 2 to a Charge 3 and am used to being able to turn my wrist from a downward position and move towards my face and see the time and display turn on. My Charge 3 does not work that way.  Any motion I make with my wrist does not activate the display? Is my unit defective? Or is this the standard behavior now? Or is there a setting I can activate to make it work again. I'm quite frustrated since I depend on the unit to work when I turn my wrist. If I cannot get it to work I'll have to downgrade back to the Charge 3.

Thank you.

Hold the side button  for a second, turn on screen wake. Rotating your wrist 90 degrees will wake the screen up.

I found this can be turned on or off in "settings" on the Charge 3. I have found that when the battery is low screen wake and notifications automatically are turned off, however, you can override this manually.

A warm welcome to the Community @vonman001@SarahRhea and @Jinikay thanks for stopping by.

I agree with our friends here, have you checked if the quick view option is on? If you haven't, you can follow their recommendations or you can check the help article How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?.

Let me know how it goes. Smiley Wink

This tends to happen to me when my battery gets to about 30%.  Thankfully I know how to fix it now 😉
