Hello Community,
My charge 3 has display issues from dimming to completely blank with 6 months of using it. After lot of back and forth with support and trying to claim warranty I am finally being offered 2 choices. Replacement of Charge 3 (device minus bands, not sure if this is refurbished but likely) or 50% off on any new fitbit.
Given that Charge 3 has so many issues I am not convinced replacement is the best deal. Any thoughts or recommendations. If I take the 50% offer given it's closer to black friday and there are deals what would be the community recommendations for an alternative to charge 3 (I mostly only need steps/cal burnt, heart rate and sleep pattern).
Please advise and thanks in advance.

Hi @caprilyn glad support is helping you with a replacement. The warranty information does say the device may be refurbished, but there is no guarantee it will be new. As for the discount, there are certain limitations, such as not being able to get the newest Versa style. I've also seen people post that the discount is off the usual retail price in the Fitbit Store and not a discount off a sales price. You'd want to check your email from Fitbit to see what conditions are listed.
I know people who have a Charge 3 and have no problems with it. You might want to get the Inspire HR, which does the basics you'd like. It's all about your finding what works best with your needs. Let us know what you decide.
