Charge 3 screen and battery issues

I’ve had my Fitbit for almost 2 years now within the last week pixels have started to die across the face. Today it started to drain the battery at a stupid fast rate charged it this morning 8am it’s now 4:45pm and down to 13% battery life. I talked to a few friends both of which have had theirs do the same thing right at the 2 year mark. Kinda makes you wonder if they are designed to fail right about then it’s awfully coincidental that 3 people including myself has had that happen. One of the people I talked to that had this problem it was the second Fitbit to do that to her so I for one won’t be spending my money on another Fitbit product.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Ranthard.

Thank you for informing us about the issues you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3.

If you haven't done so, please perform a regular restart to your Tracker by following these steps. In addition, you can try a long restart:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

If you continue having difficulties, please change the clock face of your Charge 3:

  • From the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1653616031679.png in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Charge 3 tile.
  • Tap Clock Faces.
  • Browse the available clock faces. Tap a clock face to see a detailed view.
  • Tap Install to add the clock face to Charge 3.

Hope this helps.

Neither one of those things do a thing for it. It literally won’t hold a charge for over 5 hours now it went downhill within a days time. After talking to people and reading many things I’m convinced they design all Fitbit to fail within a 2 year time period.
