Hi- I got my Fitbit June 5, 2019. About a month later a small black line appeared across my screen. It is like a dead zone that will not light up. In the past week more lines have appeared and some are a lot bigger. I have already tried shutting down both long and short ways and changing my clock screen but nothing works and I fear that the lines will only get worse.
Anyone else have this problem?
Yes, I have had the lines across the display for months. The display gets dimmer and dimmer. In switching it to auto brightness from normal this morning, all I get is black screen for everything. My charge 3 is one year old this month. Now I cannot even get it changed back to the normal (dim) setting.
Best AnswerThe exact thing is happening to mine now. I bought my original fitbit Jan 2019. Have had that Charge 3 replaced twice now by Fitbit in 16 months. Doesn't seem they can get them to work. If it's not one thing it's another. 🙄
Best AnswerI got mine 11/05/2019 and it’s a black screen since 28/04/2020 and like you I’ve done the 8sec & the 15sec restart & changed clock faces many times to no avail. I’m amazed at the amount of issues with them - not good for business!! In their reply they asked me to try the 15sec restart thing (Id already explained in my initial complaint here I’d done it many times before I wrote to them) as a way of getting it to work but no joy.
Best AnswerMine started at the top and now it's doing it top to bottom and I can hardly read it. I'm sad to say I've decided to leave Fitbit...... three Charge 3s in 16 months is enough for me. Two were free replacements but if you replace them with another piece of crap you finally say enough!
Best AnswerYes, mine has gotten even worse throughout the days. I can barely even see what time it is. I was hoping that some one from the Fitbit team would have reached out, but no one has done anything. I don’t think I will be getting a Fitbit after this.
Best AnswerI absolutely loved my Fitbit before the lines started. I don’t want to spend another $200 on another Fitbit for it to do the same thing again.
