I have just purchased a charge 3 as an upgrade for my wife's old Versa. New, straight out of the box, screen totally unresponsive?

Hi @karenbaylis50, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the unresponsive screen issue that your wife's Charge 3, I'd like to know if it vibrates when you put it on the charger.
In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your Charge 3 for 2-3 hours and see if it turns on properly.
