Charge 3 screen issues / lines/ dim

My 8 month old Charge 3 ha developed the "lost lines" and a dim display.

 

Still appears to count steps.

 

Have tried the 8 second reset to no improvement. 

 

Forum appears full of this issue but with no user way to improve. 

 

Has anyone found how to fix the problem or is this a fitbit support thing?
