Charge 3 screen not bright enough outside

Even with my reading glasses on I can’t see to set exercises when outside

Hi there @ChrisMad, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3's screen is not bright enough when you're outside, I understand where your concern is coming from. I'll be glad to help you.

Which brightness option is set on your Charge 3? Have you tried changing it? To do so, please open the Settings app and swipe up to see the full list of settings. Tap a setting to adjust it.

If the above doesn't help, try these suggestions:

  1. Check in the Fitbit app if your Charge 3 is still syncing, if so, try changing the clock face to a different one by following these steps : How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. The steps are done through the Fitbit app, do not worry if you cannot see anything on the screen for this process. 
  2. Restart your tracker by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

My watch brightness is set to "auto", but "auto" or "normal" can't be read in daylight.

I’ve tried all of that and I can’t read my screen hardly ever.  I’ve tried auto and normal settings. It’s been this way since I got it so I went back to my old fit bit.  But I’m now back trying to use this one and I can only use it to track and then look up my stats In the app on my phone.  But I need to use it for more now.  Of course I’m past the 2year warranty now.  Please help!
