Charge 3 screen only shows half clock face and data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Fit fit screen only shows half of all data including clock face. The right hand side of clock face and all data is missing. Everything is working perfectly otherwise. It records steps swimming distance etc.

Update:

**ahem** it only shows half the clock

Hi @Stowie, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 only shows half clock face and dataI appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Change a clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  3. If the issue persists, perform a long restart:
  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Additionally, I recommend checking if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version as updates come with new features and bug fixes: How do I update the Fitbit app?

Keep me posted on the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Wow thank you very much for your prompt response. This is a true mystery to me. It started when I put it in to recharge and I took it out and it was only half a screen. Shortly after that I contacted you. Less than a day later it’s a full screen again which lasted less than 24 hours and then half disappeared again. BUT now it’s been full screen for almost a week and a half. So I’m not not performIng those recommendation, however I’m taking a screenshot in case this happens again so I have a way to fix it permanently. Puzzling isn’t it. Thanks
