Charge 3 screen really dark

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Over the past couple of weeks my charge screen has got really dark. I can’t see it at all outside and it’s dim inside. At points almost unreadable.
It’s fully charged and I have tried a reset.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @LexD84.

Thank you for the information provided.

Please make sure to have Sleep Mode and Do Not Disturb (DND) turned off. For instructions on how to navigate your Fitbit Charge 3, please visit this article.

In addition to the regular restart, you can perform a long restart:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Whether this doesn't help, you can try to change the clock face.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response.

I have checked he DND and sleep. Both were turned off.

I have already tried a long restart and have changed the clock face to the largest possible numbers. Doing that means I can occasionally see the time (often I have to put my Fitbit in the shade to see anything) but little else.

I can still track steps etc. on the app but the actual device is barely usable.
