Charge 3 screen to dark

Me and my daughter both got charge 3's for Christmas 2018 and we have loved them ever since. About a month ago the screens got really dim and hard to see. We have tried all the suggestions we have seen in the forums but it doesn't work. I thought Fitbit was a good brand but now I'm beginning to think they aren't. We loved our charge 3's and believe they should last longer than 19 months.

My Fitbit is 1 1/2 old now. And I have the same problem as you. And the screen is fading  on both sides, and I can barely see it even indoors (let alone outside!). All they told me was to reset the Fitbit or sync it. Useless advice. So I’m looking for another opinion.

I'm looking for a better opinion also. The hard resets are not doing anything. This should last longer than 19 months I'm not happy. My mom has had a charge 2 for 3 years and it works like it did on day one. Me and my daughter loved our charge 3's up until a month ago.
