Charge 3 display getting dim

Hey, I couldn't find any other posts with this exact problem. I have had my Charge 3 for just over a year (bought June 2019) and now the upper part of my screen does not work. I have tried the normal reset and the longer reset but nothing seems to change (also the clock face change that seems to work for the other black screen issues).

 

Since taking the below photo it has gotten worse,  the Charge 3 itself is still tracking doing all the other things it should ok but being unable to see the screen is rather annoying. I would like to add that I never shower or swim with the watch and if some water does get on it from washing my hands I do dry it of straight away.

 I too have the same problem and have tried all of the things suggested re-boot etc. Thought my eyes needed testing. Would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks

I ended up going on the chat function and was able to get my charge 3 replaces as it was still under warranty.  It could take a while but contacting fitbit via the chat or phoning might be your only option. I personally was considering getting a different smart watch/ fitness tracker but fitbit's customer service has again been top notch for me so I'm staying.
