My Charge 3 is screen is unresponsive, however there seems to be an issue with the button which is preventing a restart while plugged into the power cradle.
The button vibrates when pressed, but seems to register a de-press (another vibration which matches that a transient button press).
The depress vibration anytime within 0 to 2 secs of the initial button press.
This seems to prevent the traditional button press restart while powered, no matter how long the button is held.
Otherwise, the fitbit is fully synched, and is recording activity.
I have also attempted to restore the screen through changing the screen display through the app, but have had no luck.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @padraig82.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.
Please try cleaning around the button of your Tracker with a toothpick to remove any dust or moisture that may be affecting its functionality. Then, try once again to restart your Charge 3 by following these steps. In addition, you can try to perform a long restart:
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, the fitbit charge 3 has an inductive button, contained in the case, rather than a physical button with gaps in which debris could become lodged.
The button issues can't be solved with a toothpick.

I just chatted with someone from Fitbit and got cut off. However, when I tried doing the hard restart, after pressing and holding for 15 seconds I wasn't able to hear/feel the specified vibrations. I went through the steps regardless, but I still wasn't able to see the screen after. Please advise if there are any next steps.

I am having the exact same issue. Item is almost 3 years old. Appears that Fitbit are trying to force me to buy a new one. It still records my steps, and I sometimes get a faint glimmer of a screen, but can't move between them. I spend 4 hours yesterday googling ways to reset and fix - to no avail. Feeling quite annoyed!!

In addition to the instructions shared above, you can try to change the clock face of your Fitbit device:
- From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Charge 3
tile.
- Tap Clock Faces.
- Browse the available clock faces. Tap a clock face to see a detailed view.
- Tap Install to add the clock face to Charge 3.
If you have followed our recommendations without luck, you can reach out Customer Support.
See you around.
