Charge 3 screen very dim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Recently my Charge 3's display has become so dim that it is unreadable in anything but a dark room - very occasionally just before the display times out the brightness returns.

I have tried the following from the web:

Reset Charge 3 - plug in the fitbit and hold the button until you see a smiley face.

Go to settings on the device and change the Brightness - I have tried all 3 settings Dim, Normal and Auto with no success.

I thought to change the display type - this seemed to work, but the next time I looked at my watch the display was dim again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Serious question to the Fitbit Moderators.  You've been saying that you are working on this is and hope to have a fix soon ... for about 6 months now.  In all seriousness, how much time do you need to fix this issue?  The word "soon" has no meaning when it stretches on this long.  Do you think if one of Apple's watches developed an issue with a dim screen that 6 months later they'd be telling their customers to be patient and that they hope to have a fix "soon"?  Not. A. Chance.  They'd have their engineers working day and night to have the issue fixed within a week or sooner.  Let's go Fitbit!  Get your act together!
