Charge 3 steps and battery issues

My Charge 3 has started showing steps, but when I sync the count changes back and forth by about 4,000 steps! Been doing this for about 3 days. Why? Also I have to reset frequently when battery falls below 50%.

It's great to see you around, @kemt.

Are you manually logging any type of activity that might be taking away your steps? If you are, I recommend deleting that activity and see if your information goes back to normal.

Now about the battery, I suggest following the tips in the article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?.
