Charge 3 steps count inaccurate

Over the past couple of weeks i have noticed that my Fitbit Charge 3 will vibrate to tell me that i have hit my 10,000 steps but when i check my app (and my Charge 3 syncs) it tells me ive only gotten a couple of 1000 steps.

 

This happened the other day 3 times into a walk. I looked at other threads on here and have uninstalled any apps that also track my steps and have deactivated my auto-recognize of workouts and it is still doing it. What else can I do?

Thanks for troubleshooting this steps issue. Is your tracker syncing the rest of your information properly? How are you registering your exercises? Are you manually logging them?.

My Fitbit Charge 3 is logging everything else fine. I log my exercise manually as I thought the issue might have been the Auto-recognise logging the same exercise again so I turned it off. I’ve tried rebooting my Charge 3 and removing it from the app but it’s still miscounting my steps.
