My Charge 3 has been sending text and call notifications to my iPhone XS for the year that I've had it, but it has suddenly stopped for some reason. In settings it says that bluetooth is connected to it, but when I go to notifications in the Fitbit app it says it needs to be set up. When I click on set-up I get the spinning wheel of death FOREVER, then it finally says set-up unsuccessful. How can I fix it?

On android I would tap on the message telling me to setup notifications. Then Fitbit would prompt me through the connect process.

Hello there @Kellinasf, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided.
While reading your post I was wondering if you've been using more than one device to sync your Charge 3? If so, make sure the other device isn't nearby. If the device is nearby, turn off Bluetooth on it.
I'd also recommend to take a look at the help article: Why are notifications delayed or missing?
Thanks for helping out @Rich_Laue.
Let me know if there's anything else I may do to help you in the meantime.

I've never sync'd it with any other device.
I've done the things in that article, without success.
-App is up to date
-I've force quit and restarted
-Restarted the charge 3
-Restarted my phone
The only thing I hadn't done is tell my bluetooth to forget the device, so I just did that. Now, when I go into notifications and hit set up, nothing happens at all. No spinning wheel of death or anything. I force quit and tried 4 times. So great, now it's really messed up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I really depended on those notifications!

Thanks for the details provided @Kellinasf.
Please try the following once again in the order shown:
One they are set up, can you confirm "Show In History" option is toggled on? iOS system Settings > Notifications > Messages > 'Show In History'.
I'm looking forward to your response.

Well, weird as it was that it suddenly stopped working, it appears that now it has suddenly started working again. No idea why.
Thanks for your help.
