I have a charge 3. I know it’s older but I only used it for two months then shelved it. The past two months I’ve been using it again after 2-3 years of keeping it in my jewelry box. I’m having the exact same issue. Once my battery life drops to 28 %, my Fitbit stops tracking anything. 

I was considering buying an updated model but after experiencing this, I’m not so sure.

I have a Charge 4 that I use for running. I've had it for 3 years, and it's still going strong. The only time I've needed to charge it was after the battery died completely while on a run and couldn't get a GPS signal. I would like to hire a writer who will do my lab report on time. It still tracked my exercise perfectly without having to recharge.
