Charge 3 stopwatch started. How do I stop it?

About a week ago everything on my charge 3 abruptly changed without me making any changes. apparently there is a stopwatch feature? and it began running and I don't know how to stop it. I also don't know how to restore my charge 3 to the way i had it set up before. Any help is greatly appreciated.
