My charge 3 is resting comfortably inside a box in my cupboard, waiting for a software update that will give me more than 3 seconds to view my data! I need to constantly check my heart rate (the principal reason I have this device), but I am tired of wrestling with this thing, constantly shaking my wrist like an idiot. I am going to buy a $20 timex instead.

Go to the "Screen Timeout" setting under Settings and you have several choices up to 60 seconds.
