Charge 3 won't charge

I bought the Fitbit Charge 3 Feb 2020 and now it will not charge. Thought maybe the cord had gone bad so ordered a new one and it does not charge it either. Help. I have cleaned all contacts and everything.

When the device is charging it says 93% but the battery graphic is not shaded in .  Once unplugged from the charge, the charge only stays for a few hours.
