Was totally discharged. Plugged in. Nothing after a hour. Pushing button vibrates for about 6-7 seconds then stops. Tried 15 seconds, still nothing.

Hello there @RlaurenJ, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for taking the time to restart your Charge 3 in order to charge it again.

As per the description of your post it seems that the battery on your watch may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on. I recommend that you follow these steps (or please confirm that you've followed them as described below):

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I'll be around, keep me posted on the outcome.

Left it charging overnight and finally was able to continue trouble shooting original problem after it woke up. Won't stay connected to iPhone 7 unless it's off my wrist and sitting right next to the phone. If I wear to bed and phone is charging in a different room, does not connect and clock loses time. Contacted Fitbit support and tried their solutions, No luck. Out of warranty by a few months. "escalated" to a higher support level. She think's it may be related to latest IOS update. I doubt it since my wife has identical phone and tracker with same life as mine, no issues. Based on number of complaints I see in this forum, I am not optimistic that Fitbit has a fix or will replace out of warranty. Applewatch is probably best solution, unfortunately.
