My fitbit will no longer charge. Looks like the pins have corroded. This of course happens just after having it a year.... Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

Hi @Tanuvdarie, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 won't charge since the pins seem to be corroded.. By the way, thank you for providing a picture showing the pins.
I would like to know if your Charge 3 vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your tracker for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi @JuanJoFitbit, Yes I did try the troubleshooting tips with no luck. I've cleaned it with alcohol, plugged the charger into a different usb port and then a different outlet. It does not vibrate when I plug it into the charger, it doesn't register the charger at all.

I have the exact same issue with my watch, this is my second watch and both of them did the same thing. Perfectly good watch, contacts Corroded in just one year. I would clean it and follow the instructions on how to keep it clean, and dry but if the contact erode like that i'm moving to another product.
Did you ever get an answer from Fitbit about this issue?
