Charge 3 won't light up or sync

So yesterday my Fitbit charge 3 would not light up . I read by changing the clock face it would fix this issue. When trying to sync my Fitbit the app it self would not open . So I uninstalled the app and re installed it. Now it's trying to set up my Fitbit again . Only problem is my Fitbit won't show the code as the screen in my Fitbit won't work . Any ideas . It's only 5 months old

@Kinghthood Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with your Charge 3 screen not working and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. When using the Fitbit app make sure you are selecting the Log in option and not the Join Fitbit option as the latter will guide you the setup process. Also when you remove the app this doesn't remove the tracker from your account this is why it is odd that you are getting the prompt to set it up again unless you removed it. Regarding the tracker please restart it by doing the following:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

Let me know how it goes.

My Charge 3 is not over 1 yr old. The face has gone so dim that it is difficult to read. I followed these instructions to restart and was successful, smiley face and all, but the face remains as dim as ever. please. help.

@PFRass I hope you're doing well!

Thank you for restarting your tracker by following my previous instructions. Are you able to navigate to your tracker's settings? Make sure the setting isn't on Dim for the brightness option also make sure it isn't in sleep mode by long pressing the button.

I look forward to your reply.
