Charge 3 won't respond

Ok so a long one here, for the last few days I couldn’t see the time clearly, it was fully charged today and then it started to continually buzz and vibrate. Nothing I did would stop it. I took it off, the green lights were on at the back. Screen remained blank and it didn’t respond to anything.

Decided to charge it again and for a few seconds I got a smiling face which I didn’t know what that meant!! And now it’s not doing anything. Not charging either. It’s not synced to the app and so I can’t try to change the clock face.

Has it just completely died on me?! 😩

Hello there @Pajaba67, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Charge 3's recent behavior and for taking the time to try fixing it.

I recommend that you follow these steps (or please confirm that you've followed them as described below):

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Thankyou!

i have tried your suggestions, I’ve left it on charge all day and my app now says it fully charged. I can’t see anything on the screen. I’ve changed the clock face.

when I press the side button it buzzes but I don’t know what screen it is on! When I take it off the green light flashes briefly!🤷🏽‍:female_sign:

Hi there @Pajaba67, I appreciate you've taken the time to follow the tips and recommendations I provided. Since none of the steps you tried have worked, I've created a case to get you in contact with our Support Team about this. They will be able to work with you and review your options. Please keep a lookout in your inbox to the email address associated with this Fitbit account. Someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible since our support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.
