Charge 3 won't set up on Mac computer

I'm trying to add my first device (my mom gave me her old one) and I'm doing it on my computer and after I create an account, I went in to "Add New Device" and it had me verify the "Tell us about yourself" stuff and it's just been stuck on that. After the first time I waited 20min then closed out of the program and tried again: same thing.

Welcome on board @ccanary, it's nice to see you around! Are you trying to set up your Charge 3 with the Fitbit app for Windows 10? I'd recommend taking a look at Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Fitbit Charge 3 syncs automatically and wirelessly to computers and 200+ leading iOS, Android & Windows devices using Bluetooth LE wireless technology. Windows compatibility coming soon.

Syncing requires Bluetooth LE and Internet connection. Windows 10 computers that do not have Bluetooth LE will need a wireless sync donglein order to sync.

  • Syncs with iOS 10 and later, Android 5.0 and later and Windows 10 devices. Check yours here.Windows compatibility coming soon.

I'll be around, keep me posted!

Hi, it isn't working because since you have a Charge 3, it only works with a mobile setup. Yes, I also tried setting it up on my laptop (Mac) but it said the Charge 3, Aria and few others require mobile setup and do not work on a laptop. The Fitbit setup app on my laptop told me this while it was trying to set mine.

Hope this helps.
