Just started this morning. Went for a walk, could check weather, swipe to the apps, swipe down for more steps. Nothing now. No apps appear, tried using a stylus, it's just nothing and empty. Connects to the phone just fine; but still no movement on anything.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this swiping issue. I was able to see here that our friend @SunsetRunner provided some instructions in order to fix this problem.
