Charge 3 won’t sync apps

I’m trying to add my gmail and other apps to my charge 3 but it will not allow me (via the app and website)

Here’s how:

In order for the Gmail app to appear on the list of apps for notifications, you need to allow Gmail to send notifications to your phone: Phone's settings > Gmail > Notifications. Once you receive a notification from Gmail app on your phone, the Gmail app will appear on the list. Once that is done open your Fitbit app, tap your profile picture, scroll down to and tap notifications. Now tap App notifications and make sure gmail is enabled. These settings require System Sharing Notifications… go to your settings on your phone > Bluetooth. Tap the information icon next to your Charge 3 on the list then select Share System Notifications.

 On your iPhone look your gmail settings and make sure you have notifications allowed and not disabled.
