Charge 3 won't sync or receive notifications

I got a charge 3 last July. Now it wont sync and some of the features don't work anymore (eg text notifications, incoming call alerts, etc). Not sure if this is bc the Charge 3 isn't even listed as a Fitbit product anymore; but it doesn't really build a lot of brand loyalty when a company decides it will no longer support a product just bc it no longer makes it. "Thanks for buying our product but in a year or so you may be forced to buy something different bc we wont recognize it. Sorry, not sorry."

Hi @skliano  your post was moved to the proper forum area "Other Charge Trackers" for more relevant responses. Just because a device is no longer being made doesn't mean Fitbit abandons it. These forums have areas for users of retired devices, such as the One, Zip, Flex and Blaze, to mention the a few. Even when someone has a question on a second hand device, customer support helps as they are able. It might not be for sale now, but the Charge 3 is still being used. Take a look around this forum area and you'll see moderators helping people.

@skliano I'm sorry for the experience and thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I'd like to let you know that to streamline our offerings as we introduce new products and services, we sometimes discontinue other products and services. As a result, we no longer sell Charge 3.

Nevertheless; regarding the syncing inconvenience, I'd recommend making sure that you've followed all the suggested troubleshooting steps in this link: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

In regards with the notifications, I also suggest visiting this help article for additional tips: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I have the same problems. As to syncing, just shut off blue tooth for a second and then turn it back on. Sync should then work. I have to do this almost every time. Once in a while it doesn't work so I have to reboot the phone which always works.

@JerrytheK I'd like to let you know that if you're still experiencing inconveniences to sync your Charge 3, please make sure that the Fitbit app for your mobile device is up to date
