Same issues here. I deleted my Fitbit and now it won’t reconnect. Very frustrating

My charge 3 won't sync with my phone either.  It will sync to my desktop but I have to physically open the app on the computer for it to sync.  Hate the app!  I typically in the past (with charge 2) would just let it continuously sync through my phone and then use the fitbit website to look at stuff rather than that horrible app..

But my phone won't even recognize the charge 3.  When I open my Bluetooth to scan for devices it will never have the charge 3 be recognized.  It always recognized my charge 2.  Do I need to return this thing?

Yep...same thing here. I just got my Charge 3 today. I DID set it up with my iPad and it 'seems" like it's working (too early to tell yet.)  Then, I tried to set it up with my iPhone...Is it not seeing the iPhone because it's already synched to the iPad?

I'm still a bit too new to know for sure what I'm doing yet. Is it even possible to connect the same tracker to two things (iPad & iPhone)?

Hi Folks,

I found my own answer. Since I had my Charge 3 connected to the iPad, it wouldn't connect to the iPhone as long as it was connected to the iPad Bluetooth. Once I turned off BT on the iPad, it connected to the iPhone right away.

I don’t have my Fitbit connected to anything else, it’s not even currently connected to my phone. I gave up. Not worth the hassle.

After a frustrating day of not being able to sync on my phone and only being able to sync on my desktop if my phone is off I decided to say screw it.  My charge 3 is being returned.  I like the charge 2 better anyway but the screen has a small crack.  I never expected an upgrade to be so glitchy and obviously untested.  I have been a loyal fitbitter for 5 years but after this, once this one dies I will seek out other options as this leaves a real bad taste in my mouth.

Hi
I’d say contract customer support , and have a chat with them.
The person I was dealing with was so nice and helpful
I knew it wasn’t a software problem as my problem started before my phone updated
But I did everything I was told to do and it still wasn’t syncing I was then told that I had 2 choices
Get a charge3 replacement at no cost Or
Get 50% off any other model
At this stage my charge3 is on its way
Good luck with yours

Good luck

Oh mine just won’t connect with anything at the moment
But it is counting my steps. It’s about the only thing it’s doing right at the moment
But I should have my replacement one very soon so hopefully that one will be ok

I had the Flex for years and never had a problem with it
But it really was very basic so I was delighted to have gotten the charge 3 last Christmas and to be honest it was great until a couple of weeks ago but once the problem started there was no stopping them
It certainly looks like a lot of people are having the same problem

When the iphone's battery is set to low power mode, it will not sync/refresh in the background
