Charge 3 won't sync with Windows 10

There is no app on my phone. Bluetooth on my phone is off.  Bluetooth on computer is on. Charge 3 shows on Bluetooth screen as "Make sure your device is discoverable. Select a device below to connect."  After clicking on "Charge 3" for about 30 seconds it says "Try reconnecting again".  I uninstalled the APP and tried again. I tried with the charge cable connected. With it NOT connected.

Welcome to the Community, @SueLove.

Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue. If your Charge 3 isn't syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Apologies for not getting back to you.     Fitbit sent a replacement for the first Charge 3 and it, also, would not sync with 2 different phones or WINDOWS 10.  Fitbit emailed a shipping label to return the first 2 Charge 3's and then I received a third Charge 3.....with same issue: Won't sync.  This current one, in fact, seems to be dead. At first, it at least scrolled "www.fitbit.com/setup" but now it is blank. I tried different USB ports (ALL my USB ports are working) but blank. Dead. The only thing I am left with is the feeling that I should warn others about Fitbit.

I got a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 running Windows 10 for Xmas. I have been trying to sync my Fitbit Charge 3 to it, which was previously sync'd to an Android tablet. I have installed the Fitbit app on the laptop, logged into my Fitbit account and it won't sync (Bluetooth is on). I've tried re-booting the laptop, removed the device from my Fitbit account, run Clear User Data on the Fitbit, tried connecting in the Bluetooth PC setup and setting up a new device in my Fitbit account (I've probably missed a few other things I've done in that list). Nothing connects. I've trawled the Web and found LOTS of other people with the same problem, without solution. Would someone PLEASE just cut the BS and tell me that the Charge 3 and / or Fitbit doesn't work with Win 10, so I can go and buy another brand.

I am on my third Charge 3. Can it be that Fitbit will just wait for people to stop complaining and then discontinue the Charge 3 and "that will be that"?
