You replaced my original Charge 3 last year. Now the new one will only sync when charging. The rest of the time the app says 'Device not found '. I've tried all the help page fixes.

As I said in my original post, I have done every step, reboot, check of set up. Fitbit Charge 3 will Not sync with my Samsung S8+ unless it is plugged in and on charge. I have wasted to many hours and will replace it with another make that lasts more than six months.

Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue. If your Charge 3 isn't syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.

I've done every step, too, and my charge 3 won't sync unless I un-pair and set it up new, which I did THREE TIMES yesterday. I've made a separate post, since I'm on Android. Might I add that telling everyone to rtfm after they've done that and occasionally quoted the article back is very frustrating.

I get sick of the false bonhomie replies from Fitbit. You're not my mate , but I am a customer who is pissed off with spending countless hours trying to get your product to work
