Charge 3 won't sync

I had a Charge 2 for a long time, but it stopped working, so I thought since I liked it so much I’d get a Charge 3. What a mistake!

My Charge 3 worked at the beginning, but now it won’t sync, the  Bluetooth can’t find it sometimes, it adds 10,000 steps randomly then takes them away and it doesn’t notify me when I get to my step goal. It’s extremely frustrating.

I called customer service and did everything they told me to try and nothing worked. The person hinted more than once my phone was old and should upgrade, but my iPhone 6s works great. I don’t need a new one. I shouldn’t have to get a new phone to have a watch work, especially since it said it was compatible on the iPhone 6s.

Has anyone had these problems and success fixing it?

It's great to see you here, @Jculp1.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue. If your Charge 3 isn't syncing, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.

Now about the steps, we needs to make sure that your tracker is syncing properly in order to transfer the information correctly.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂
