Charge 3 won't sync

Hello, I am struggling to get my Charge 3 to sync with my Sony Xperia Z. It may sync over night or for a couple of hours during the day but then it cannot be found and I keep getting the message that I need to link a Fitbit to the app in order to use the app, version 3.21.

 

I had switch Bluetooth and WiFi on and off, Force stop on the App and even uninstalled/re-installed it to. What are the methods I should be doing to get it to sync and hopefully stay connected through the day? I have always connected selected and have even the Fitbit app listed as one of the power saving exceptions.

Thanks for troubleshooting this syncing issue. If you are having problems connecting your tracker with your phone, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.
