Hi,
I have a Charge 3 which I’ve been using for a year and a half. About a couple of months ago, I noticed that if I went to my app which had been on in the background, the live data would stop. I could refresh it, but the app would just update to the latest steps and then stay constant.
Also, the heart rate would just show the resting heart rate. The live data was showing perfectly fine on the Charge 3. The only way to sort would be to shut the app then open again, but the freeze would just happen again.
I have background refresh on, there is no longer an all day sync option in my settings, and I have down the usual things (unpaired, re-paired, deleted app etc.). It’s almost as though there is a sleep function in the phone somewhere.
My app is version 3.27
My firmware on the Charge 3 is 28.20001.63.5
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for the information provided and for the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue. If you are having problems connecting your tracker with your phone, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and follow the instructions provided there.
