Charge 3 won't track sleep

I've tried resetting while charging it, going to settings and resetting, it is on my non-dominate arm...I promise I do sleep and hold still for most of it. What else can I do? I don't want to manually enter it, I got it to track my sleep cycles.

Welcome to the Forums @Scodner.

I will be moving this thread to the Charge 3 board as I think it is better suited for it.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing all of the settings you have tried adjusting to get it to work.

There are some reasons why this could be happening:

  • Something is causing your HR to remain higher than it should while you sleep. Stress, eating a lot right before going to sleep, bad dreams. All of these could be raising your HR.
  • If you sleep with an open window or a fan, the draft of air could lead to your Fitbit thinking that you are awake and moving.

In none of those are the case, maybe you could try changing the sleep sensitivity setting on your Fitbit. Click here to see instructions on how to do it.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

My charge 3 isn't recording sleep cycles.  Ibe been fine up until this point but stopped recording them 2 weeks ago.  I've completed all updates and reset the watch.   My HR isn't too fast, my watch is as secure as it's always been, and has nothing to do with my eating habits.   I'm getting frustrated and ready to return it.  I think there's a glitch in the system.  Any other recommendations before I get rid of it?
