My wife's charge 3 fit bit screen is dark. Have tried a) of the suggestion to reboot it. It will not light up or connect to app. It was purchased less than a year ago.

Mine is doing the exact same thing today. It was fine at 8am and then it went dark. Unable to reset in clock face mode because it's been "switching" for the past 6 hours. Pressing the side button to reset equals a bright smiley face, then it turn to a very difficult to see smiley face.
