Yesterday morning my Charge 3 died but managed to reboot using the eight second trick. This morning it died again and this time it wont be revived at all. Seems that this might be a common thing? Has anyone got a way of getting started again or is that it!

I am sorry for the delay in response and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this display issue. If your tracker isn't turning on, I recommend checking this post and follow the instructions provided there.
