Charge 3 won't turn on

Hello,

I have not been using my Fitbit Charge 3 for two months since one of the bands broke. Now I have new bands, I tried to turn it on but it does not. I left it charging for 8h. Then try rebooting, I kept the button pressed for 8s, the smiley face came up, stayed on for some seconds, and then disappeared.

I repeated the process many times, no luck.

 

Please advise,

Hi there @luanJ, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 won't turn on, I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for your time and efforts in trying to solve this issue prior to posting here.

Did you feel a vibration while restarting your Charge 3 ? If you din't, please try the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
