Charge 4 - Autorecognised activities stopped tracking

So, another issue has started on my charge 4.  The last 2 runs I've done have not been autorecognised.  I know the GPS issue is still there, but at least having autorecognised runs recorded and by using another app on my phone for GPS was an OK solution until I'm able to change my device.  Now runs have stopped being logged even though my steps still are which is something I guess.  What is the point of a fitness tracker, if it doesn't track what you need it to?  I loved my charge 4 until June when it started to go wrong after 6 months of use.  I definitely will be thinking twice about upgrading to a different fitbit as they don't seem to be fit for purpose anymore.  😕

@Needsacoffee , Nice to see you around. Thank you for your message and feedback.

There can be various reasons why your activities were not recorded or recognized correctly.

For example, the activity is not fully recognized by your movement patterns.

You paused for more than 30 seconds during the first few minutes, so the tracker might "think" the exercise was over.

I recommend restarting your tracker and setting the start times for the activities differently. For example, set it to 10 minutes for a walk, 15 for a run, 20 for an outdoor bike ride, etc., and/or ignoring the activities you don't use.

You can find the instructions for this here.

My charger for has stopped recognizing any of my activities that I have connected to my exercise. It is not doing any auto recording of my exercise activities. I go to the gym 3 to 5 times a week and it has stopped recording I am now having to enter these activities manually in the app. How do you resolve this problem so that the auto track starts recording again?

Yes, I've restarted my charger and I've set different times for each of my exercises. The system simply will not Auto record the information. Not sure what to try next. Sorry for the slow response I'm new to this environment. And I'm not sure how often I should be checking back into the system.

Thanks I tried the reset again just now and this time it seems to have worked. At least my 4 vibrated this time. Or last time it didn't do that. Again thank you for your help
