Charge 4 - Display not turning on but green light is coming

My fitbit was not used for 6 months. On 7th month I put it to charge and I realize it's not working anymore. Ah.

Only green light is blinking but the display is not coming up. I am so helpless.

I tried connecting it to pc, kept it in charge for very long, but nothing is working. Just green light displays and it vibrates in return.

@BharatChhajed , A warm welcome to the Community !Thank you for your message and for trying to charge the Charge 4 longer.

Please do as follows

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.

4 . Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Hope this helps

I have been using my Charge 4 daily and last week it suddenly went black. Green light still came on, still vibrated , still syncing with the phone app, just no display. I tried everything suggested (reset, etc.) and contacted Fitbit Support. Was told there was no more they could do and I would have my case referred to the warranty group. In a matter of a couple hours I received an email advising me my warranty had lapsed (which I knew) and offered a 35% discount. OK, so I bought a new Charge 5 which I like quite a bit and it arrived quickly. It set up and connected easily and I was ready to go. I then picked up the old "dead" Charge 4 and lo and behold it came to life and is working fine.

Disappointed that I got no elevated support and was just told I needed to buy a new one. Unfortunately, this is pretty typical of Fitbit support.
