Exercises started manually on my watch, e.g. Outdoor Workout and Yoga, no longer appear in the app when I synch my Fitbit Charge 4.. I see activities that start automatically, e.g. Walk, and data like overall steps and heart rate. I’ve restarted the Charge, checked for updates, forcibly closed the app, but it makes no difference.

Sounds similar to what happened to the Charge 2. Exercises started on the Charge 2 no longer sync to the app. This happened over a year ago. They have not fixed the problem. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Charge-Trackers/Charge-2-no-exercise-showing-on-app/m-p/566635...

My iPad has the latest software update. I have followed the steps you suggest and the exercises I started/finished via my Fitbit are still not showing when I synch.

Thank you! Having worked on testing software, I find it really irritating. If it doesn’t get fixed, I’ll look at a different brand.

We have tried all possible steps through this channel to try to resolve this issue. My best suggestion is that you contact technical support directly, as they have more tools to provide you with the appropriate follow-up.
